Medical Response Bag Stolen From Scottish Ambulance
A medical bag containing drugs and syringes was stolen from a West Lothian ambulance.
The green bag was reported missing around 6 a.m., but the theft is believed to have occurred sometime between Sunday night and early Monday morning, according to Deadline News.
Officials believe the bag was stolen when paramedics responded to a call in Townhead Gardens around 2:50 a.m.
Police stressed that the items in the bag could be dangerous if not taken as prescribed.
"None of the medication in the bag is believed to be particularly harmful, but as with all medicine it could be dangerous if taken in high doses, without a prescription," a police spokesman told the news website. "We would ask anyone who might find the green response bag to hand it in to the nearest police station or medical centre."
