Wyo. Medical Airlife Jet Damaged on Icy Runway

WHEATLAND, WY.

 

An AirLife Denver jet was damaged on Saturday while landing in Wyoming to pick up a patient.

Officials with HealthONE said the Learjet 31 encountered an unexpected section of slippery runway around noon in Wheatland. The aircraft's landing gear was damaged.

Two pilots and two nurses on board were not hurt.

The patient, who was not on board the jet, was transported by ground ambulance.

The FAA and NTSB will be conducting an investigation.
