Ambulance Collides with Cars in Takoma Park, Maryland

TAKOMA PARK, Md. --
Several people were hurt in a crash involving an ambulance taking a patient to an area hospital on Tuesday.
The ambulance collided with several cars at Ethan Allen Avenue and Woodland Road in Takoma Park.
Two people in the cars suffered neck and back injuries.
The driver of the ambulance was not hurt. The patient was suffering from a back problem but did not sustain any more injuries because of the accident, officials said.
