First National Meeting of EMS Quality Coordinators Scheduled for EMS World Expo 2015

Joe Hayes, NREMT-P

The first meeting of the National Association of EMS Quality Coordinators (NAEMSQC) will be held at EMS World Expo on September 17, 2015, in Conference room N231 of the Las Vegas Convention Center at 3:00 PM.

EMS instructors, managers, directors and physicians have all had professional associations dedicated to supporting, advocating and enhancing their professional standing for decades, as well they should. EMS quality coordinators now at long last have their professional association, the National Association of EMS Quality Coordinators, which was incorporated as a 501(c) 3 non-profit in April 2014.

Quality improvement is the core business of EMS. Providing competent, effective and safe patient care is a universal expectation. If you are a quality coordinator, medical director, EMS officer or anyone else who has achieved success in quality improvement or discovered a better or more imaginative way of improving patient care, please consider sharing your success with the rest of EMS by attending our inaugural meeting at EMS World Expo in Las Vegas and joining the NAEMSQC.

At this pivotal time, NAEMSQC is looking for the next generation of leaders in EMS. Joining NAEMSQC will give you with the opportunity to make a difference on a national scale.

If you have any interest in joining the NAEMSQC, contact jhayestpc@gmail.com.
