Over the past few weeks, we’ve been busy updating company information and product listings to offer the most comprehensive catalog of EMS companies available today.

Debuting in this issue is the 2011 Run Survey courtesy of our sister publication Firehouse Magazine. A total of 219 fire departments took part in this year’s survey. These agencies responded to 7,392,941 EMS calls and 1,170,559 fire calls last year. 

2012 has been a busy year for EMS World. We launched the iPad version of EMS World Magazine in March, our TRIVIAL PURSUIT Emergency Medical Services Edition game in July and the revised and expanded second edition of Thom Dick’s People Care in October.

The upcoming year promises to have just as many new projects, including our EMS 2020 column scheduled to debut next month.
