We are very excited to announce the winners of the EMS World 2011 Top Innovation Awards.

Each year, EMS World editorial advisory board member Mike Smith makes his way around the EMS World Expo exhibit hall, seeking out the most innovative products to be launched or redeveloped over the previous year. The 2011 EMS World Expo, which was co-located with Firehouse Central and Enforcement Expo, was held August 31–September 2 in Las Vegas, NV, and was one of our largest shows in recent years. We had 349 exhibiting companies in 80,550 quare feet of exhibit floor space, with 140+ classes to choose from. Conference attendance totaled 5,874.

The 2012 EMS World Expo will be held in New Orleans, LA, October 31–November 2. If you can’t wait that long, check out the EMS World Expo classes at Firehouse World, February 21–23 in San Diego, CA. We have produced a three-track program that includes BLS, ALS and operations classes. Among the classes offered are Combat Casualty Care: Lessons for PHTLS, Case Studies in Respiratory Care, and Therapeutic Hypothermia and Emerging Science.
