BARIATRIC TRANSPORT SYSTEM

Stryker has introduced a new Bariatric Transport Cot and Transfer-Flat with an industry-leading 1,600-lb. capacity. This system enables services to accommodate larger, heavier patients with increased comfort while reducing operator strain. The Transfer-Flat provides a means to carry a patient from a confined area to the cot, and allows easy transfer off the cot and onto the stretcher. SCHOOL'S AED PROVES WORTH

Welch Allyn's AED 20 came into good use when a woman collapsed at a recent high school basketball game in suburban Chicago. Welch Allyn Sales Manager Matt Poppert-who had sold the device to Schaumburg Christian School, where his wife works, a year earlier-was in attendance and rushed to the side of the victim.
