The expansion is emblematic of the company’s overall growth, according to Kussmaul, which started in 1967 in a 240-square-foot room behind a garage. Masimo’s SET oximetry was prescribed in an outcome study of retinopathy among preemies, which used it to measure the precise oxygenation of at-risk infants. “Prematurity,” said Masimo CEO Joe Kiani, “is one of the most urgent problems facing…children worldwide. Masimo is proud to support [the March of Dimes’] endeavors.”…Mike Mazza, president of medical-device dealers Mabis Healthcare, Inc. and Duro-Med Industries, has announced the addition of Jeff Krenk to the companies’ sales staff.
