Hazelden Betty Ford Names New Medical Director for National Youth Program
Hazelden Betty Ford this week announced the appointment of Sara Polley, MD, as the new medical director of the foundation’s national substance use and mental health treatment center for adolescents and young adults in Plymouth, Minnesota.
She succeeds Joseph Lee, MD, who in February was introduced as Hazelden Betty Ford’s next president and CEO.
Most recently, Polley served as a psychiatrist and director of dual diagnosis services at PrairieCare Medical Group in Brooklyn Park, Minnesota. Board-certified in adult, child and adolescent psychiatry, as well as addiction medicine, she completed a child and adolescent psychiatry fellowship at Boston Children’s Hospital, serving as chief fellow during her final year.
Hazelden Betty Ford in Plymouth provides residential and outpatient substance use and mental health services for young people, with 160 employees serving more than 1,000 patients per year.
