LEARN Behavioral Expands into Indiana with Deal for BACA
LEARN Behavioral, which operates a national network of applied behavior analysis therapy provider locations to treat children and young adults with autism, has announced that it is expanding into Indiana with the acquisition of Behavior Analysis Center for Autism (BACA).
BACA, which has four locations in Indiana, was founded by Carl Sundberg, PhD, BCBA-D, who also serves as the organization’s chief clinician and president, and Devon Sundberg, MS, BCBA, who serves as CEO.
BACA will continue to operate under its current brand, although LEARN said in a news release that it plans to “make significant investments” in its clinical staff, including ongoing training that incorporates current research on behavioral analysis. Carl Sundberg noted LEARN’s willingness to invest in BACA’s staff as a key differentiator among several interested buyers.
With this acquisition, LEARN’s network now spans across 15 states and Washington, D.C.
