Pinnacle Acquires Four Outpatient Treatment Programs in Virginia

Pinnacle Treatment Centers announced it has acquired four outpatient opioid treatment programs in Virginia—American Addiction Treatment Center programs for adult men and women in Hayes, Newport News and Williamsburg, and Addiction Medicine Specialists, an office-based opioid treatment program in Newport News.

All four programs plan to accept Medicaid in the near future, according to a Pinnacle news release. Timothy O’Connell, MD, FASAM, founder of the programs, remain on staff as regional medical director for Pinnacle. Other clinical and medical staff also will be retained.
