Pinnacle Acquires HealthQwest in Georgia

Pinnacle Treatment Centers on Monday announced the acquisition of HealthQwest, a medication-assisted treatment provider in Georgia. HealthQwest, which also offers medical withdrawal services as a licensed narcotics treatment program, serves about 1,100 patients at its five outpatient centers.

As part of Pinnacle, HealthQwest will continue operating under its current name. Pamela Marfell, MA, LPC, CPCS, NCC, MAC, CACII, CCS, the former CEO, administrator and co-owner of HealthQwest, will serve as a consultant for Pinnacle. Gina Carr, PharmD, another previous co-owner, will serve as Pinnacle’s lead pharmacist.

With its acquisition of HealthQwest, Pinnacle’s portfolio of treatment centers now extends to eight states, serving nearly 31,000 patients daily.
