Integrative Life Center Acquires Begin Again Institute

Integrative Life Center on Tuesday announced that it has acquired Begin Again Institute, a sex and pornography addiction treatment center for men based in Boulder, Colorado.

Led by its founder, Michael Barta, PhD, CSAT-S, EMDR, Begin Again offers a variety of treatment programs, including a 14-day intensive program for men, individual and group therapy, three-day couples intensive therapy, two-day partner intensive therapy, and online courses.

Begin Again joins the portfolio of ILC, which is a Nashville-based behavioral health treatment center for mental health and substance abuse, offering residential, partial hospitalization, intensive outpatient and aftercare programs for mental health disorders, SUD, trauma, eating disorders, and sex, love and intimacy disorders. ILC said in a news release announcing the deal that it will incorporate Barta’s Trauma-Induced Sexual Addiction treatment model into its programming.
