New Year, New Opportunities
Introduction
Whether the previous year was a good or bad one, it seems the world breathes a collective sigh a relief as the next one starts. The stroke of the final midnight of 2014 slammed the door on that year’s troubles and triumphs, and presented a challenge to turn things around or keep the momentum going in 2015. Setting goals is a useful tool to keep on track. But instead of making a set list of resolutions, I prefer to see the turn of the calendar as an opportunity to keep up with things that are going well, curtail unhealthy habits, and try new experiences. As your new year unfolds, what personal and professional changes will it hold? If you’ve never attended a Symposium on Advanced Wound Care (SAWC), why not make this the year you take the opportunity to enhance your knowledge, network with colleagues, and reconnect with far-flung friends?
