AAWC would like to thank its members, volunteers, partners and corporate sponsors for a prosperous 2012.
Because of your financial and volunteer support, AAWC has been able to accomplish and offer so much including:
• A 40% increase in membership over the past 18 months
• Reduced rates on clinician dues to help ease the financial burdens so many of us face
• Free lifetime memberships for patients and their lay-caregivers
• Knowledge and guidance on government and regulatory affairs
• Enhanced Corporate Advisory Panel relations
• Establishment of the AAWC Speakers Bureau to foster quality wound care
• New Patient Education and Resources
• Formation of a US-based Volunteer Program – a new arm of our Global Volunteers initiative
• An increased focus on diabetic foot and limb preservation through partnership with the Symposium on Advanced Wound Care (SAWC)
• Development of new evidence-based “guidelines of all guidelines” for Wound Infection and Diabetic Foot Ulcers
• Enhanced website, newsletter and social media presence
As we approach 2013, let’s join together in celebration of what we have accomplished and look forward to what we can continue to achieve together. Not a member? Please join. Find out more at www.aawconline.org.
