Elta (Dallas, TX) Dermavase is an over-the-counter product designed to treat skin irritation where moisture or skin-to-skin contact has prevented healing. The product contains Elta Protease Technology, an enzymatic compound that significantly degrades proteins detrimental to healing. The formula technology is enhanced with an endopeptidase blend and destroys proteins that inhibit healing while preserving beneficial cytokines in damaged tissue. The formula provides temporary protection from and lubrication of skin irritations, chafing, and rubbing. It is safe for all skin types and the waterproof barrier protects skin against moisture from incontinence and trauma in skin folds.
