The Medicare payment systems for wound care drugs and dressings were reviewed in the June and September 2005 issues of Ostomy Wound Management. Because many readers requested a similar review of wound care biologics, Table 1 was created to depict how various payment systems throughout the care continuum handle the use of biologics adjunctive care.
