Happy Holidays from AAWC

     AAWC wishes to thank its members and supporters for their continued participation and contributions to our organization. If you are not yet a member, read on to find out many of the ways the AAWC exists to serve you, and please consider joining us in the New Year!

Real People Making a Real Difference

     The AAWC is a professional, all-inclusive organization built to serve currently nearly 1,600 members’ needs and to advance the practice of wound care.

     We are the premier, not-for-profit, multidisciplinary wound care association in North America with members across the country and the world. Since1995, the AAWC’s mission has been to build a collaborative community to facilitate optimal care for those who suffer with wounds. We accomplish this in many ways, including:

     • encouraging an equal partnership among all individuals, including patients;
     • promoting excellence in education, clinical practice, public policy and research;
     • educating the broader community through campaigns and public/international outreach efforts;
     • providing alerts regarding wound care policy and regulations to members via eblasts and via our website, www.aawconline.org

     One of the many valuable benefits is a significant discount to our official conference: SAWC (www.sawc.net). Not only do members receive a discount, but they do so on top of any other early bird or super saver specials offered by the sponsor. In addition to the camaraderie, education, networking, and enjoyment found at this wonderful venue, now held twice per year, the AAWC offers substantial other benefits to keep you current and serve your needs all year long.

     The AAWC already considers you a member of our community. If you have not done so already, why not make it official? Together, we make a difference!
