Limited-time discount on 2012 clinician membership dues

In celebration of the SAWC’s 25th Anniversary in Atlanta, April 19-22, the AAWC is offering clinician members a 25% discount on membership dues. Join or renew before April 30 to take advantage of the savings. The new dues rate is $108.75 instead of $145.00. This limited-time, clinician price is the lowest in more than 5 years. Then, if you are able, take that savings and join us in Atlanta or an extra 20% discount on your registration fee. Register for the SAWC early to save even more! If it is more convenient, join us at SAWC this fall in Baltimore, September 12–14! View more information at www.sawc.net. The promotion ends May 1.   Perhaps your membership doesn’t expire before May, and you’re wondering how this can apply to you. Simply renew your AAWC membership early, and we’ll add an additional whole year of discounts and benefits to your existing membership.

Attendance to the SAWC Spring or SAWC Fall conference is not mandatory to receive your AAWC Clinician Dues discount of 25%. However, be sure to join or renew before May 1.

There’s never been a better time to try an annual membership to AAWC.

Membership in the AAWC has saved members hundreds of dollars per year, not to mention the intangible benefits, medical alerts, and personal access you have to experts in the field. Joining or renewing is easy. Just visit www.aawconline.org and click “join/renew.”

AAWC Members: Gather your research materials together and plan to submit a manuscript for the OWM November 2012 AAWC Focus Issue

Every November, OWM features authors who are AAWC members in its AAWC-themed issue. Your literature reviews, original research, and case studies can proliferate much-needed information and further the profession of wound care and the mission of the AAWC. Make it your New Year’s resolution to get published in a peer-reviewed, indexed journal in 2012. Visit www.o-wm.com and go to “Instructions for Authors” and/or contact the Editor Barbara Zeiger at bzeiger@hmpcommunications.com for guidelines on manuscript preparation and submission. Manuscripts for the November issue are due on or before May 1.
