Product: Hydrofera Blue Ready Border Dressing

Company: Hydrofera LLC

Website: www.hydrofera.com

Hydrofera Blue

Hydrofera Blue Ready-Border is the newest addition to the Hydrofera Blue wound care portfolio. As with all Hydrofera Blue dressings, the border is non-cytotoxic and does not inhibit growth factors, which helps to facilitate faster healing. The top film is waterproof and breathable allowing for moisture vapor transmission and greater exudate management. The perforated silicone border provides the perfect solution for a secure fit and wound protection even on difficult to dress areas yet allows for atraumatic removal. Unlike most silicone border dressings, Hydrofera Blue Ready-Border does not have a silicone interface on the foam. This allows for intimate contact of the foam to the wound bed and uninterrupted absorption of exudate. The dressing is flexible, it conforms nicely to body contours, and has a 7-day wear-time.

Product: Leneva Allograft Adipose Matrix

Company: MTF Biologics

Website: www.mtfbiologics.org

LenevaLeneva Allograft Adipose Matrix is a first-of-its-kind human adipose tissue for tissue reconstruction. As an all-natural extracellular matrix, Leneva is a safe, natural, off-the-shelf solution that has multiple clinical applications including, but not limited to:

• Tunneling Wounds

• Fat Pad Reconstruction Procedures

Clinician testimonial: Diabetic foot ulcers and their complications now constitute a top 10 worldwide disability burden based on data from the World Health Organization. The results from our preliminary experience suggest that Leneva delivered to the high-risk diabetic foot may have promise in reducing tissue stress over pre- and postulcerative lesions. This may ultimately assist in extending ulcer-free days for patients in diabetic foot remission,” notes Dr. Armstrong, of Keck School of Medicine of University of Southern California in Los Angeles, CA.

Product: OxyGeni and OxySpur Oxygen Diffusion Dressing

Company: EO2 Concepts

Website: www.eo2.com

Oxygeni and OxyspurTogether the OxyGeni and OxySpur Dressing create a standalone system that provides Continuous Diffusion of Oxygen (CDO) therapy, providing patients with hard-to-heal wounds full closure and pain relief. CDO Therapy is a continuous (24/7) flow of humidified oxygen supplied through the OxySpur dressing, which is as easy as putting on a BAND-AID. This at-home, intuitive system allows therapy to be silent, discrete, and applied in the home, getting patients back to their normal routines.

Clinician testimonial: “It completely changed the way [our patient] was able to experience her day and her night,” said Robin Carlson, PT, CWS. "Because now she was able to sleep without pain and able to get up and move around and not have the same pain that she had before the [OxyGeni] was put on. She went on to heal in 5–6 weeks.” Robin Carlson, PT, CWS is a co-author of the Pain Study that was published by Wound Central in September 2018: “Effect of CDO on Pain in Treatment of Chronic Wounds” (www.eo2.com/eo2-clinical-research-summary-dfu-fullyblinded-placebo-study/).

Product: Zetuvit Plus

Company: HARTMANN USA

Website: www.hartmannusa.com

Zetuvit

Zetuvit Plus superabsorbent dressing is especially suitable for the treatment of moderately to heavily exuding wounds. The dressing promotes wound healing by allowing excessive exudate to pass quickly into a superabsorbent core, locking away excess MMPs and other wound inhibitors. Exudate forms a gel inside the dressing resulting in odor control, a barrier to bacteria, and a significantly reduced risk of maceration. The high absorption capacity of Zetuvit Plus helps reduce the frequency of dressing changes, saving clinicians time and expense. In addition to the absorbency, Zetuvit Plus also offers a padding effect. The dressing is indicated for acute wounds such as traumatic wounds, postoperative wounds, lymphatic wounds, and arterial leg ulcers as well as for chronic wounds such as pressure injuries, venous or mixed leg ulcers, and tumor wounds. Zetuvit Plus can also be used under compression bandages.
