The newest AAWC Educational Wound Images CD is now available for purchase

The AAWC is pleased to announce the release of our 5th Educational Wound Images CD. AAWC CD 5 flew off the shelves at SAWC Spring. The AAWC Educational Image Series is designed to assist healthcare providers and educators in teaching and lecturing about wound and skin care. These images are JPEG files, which can be easily used for PowerPoint presentations; 48 quality images are included in the new AAWC CD.

Where applicable, these images have been assigned healing status according to OASIS-c guidelines. OASIS-C is a modification to the Outcome and Assessment Information Set (OASIS) that Home Health Agencies must collect in order to participate in the Medicare program. OASIS guidelines typically apply to the most problematic wounds, such as pressure ulcers, surgical wounds, and stasis ulcers. Healing status is not required on arterial ulcers, diabetic ulcers, dermatitis, and the like.

If you were not able to purchase the CD in person at SAWC, you can now order this CD online. Please visit the AAWC Store at www.aawconline.org/store. Members of the AAWC receive a 50% discount through the discount store (enter through the top of regular store with your member ID to access the discount store). Also remember that quality printed educational wound and skin care brochures can be ordered in our store.
