Annual Distinguished Member Announced

The Association for the Advancement of Wound Care (AAWC) is proud to announce Cindy Felty, MSN, RN, CNP, CWS, FCCWS, received the annual AAWC Distinguished Member Award. Cindy was recognized at the AAWC Membership Meeting at SAWC Spring in Orlando on April 25 for her many years of service to the Association, including 8 years of Board service. A member since 1997, Cindy has been a valuable resource in her work as the Association’s PAD Coalition Liaison and more recently in helping build the AAWC’s collaboration with the Dystrophic Epidermolysis Bullosa Research Association (DebRA). This award shows the organization’s deep appreciation for everything Cindy has done for the AAWC, particularly her contribution in the creation of AAWC’s Wound Image CD #5. The CD has been a great success and is available from the AAWC Store at www.aawconline.org.

In Memory of Dr. Peter Sheehan (May 6, 1954 –May 16, 2014)
