  Additionally, the AAWC would like to express appreciation to ConvaTec, who provided the AAWC Global Volunteers program with the $10,000 “Walk for Wellness” grant at this past SAWC Spring in Atlanta. Participating SAWC attendees used a pedometer to count and log their steps during the conference; they are equally as responsible for the event’s success. Thanks to everyone who participated in this year’s Walk for Wellness, sponsored by ConvaTec. The $10,000 will help AAWC develop wound management programs in underdeveloped countries.
