Venous Workshop Meets Demand for Education at VEITH Symposium

At the 42nd annual VEITH symposium, nearly 4,000 attendees gathered from points across the globe to learn updates on vascular therapies. New at the 2015 meeting was a venous therapy workshop, called Venous Venous Venous, chaired by Lowell Kabnick, MD, and Jose Almeida, MD. Drs. Kabnick and Almeida have chaired the venous programming at VEITH for 10 years, but this is the first year the meeting has hosted a hands-on workshop at which attendees can test devices and network with industry. Dr. Kabnick noted that there were about 40 faculty and 200 registrants. Sessions during the workshop addressed both deep venous and superficial venous therapies. Watch the video below for details about the growth of interest in venous therapies within the vascular community.
