The popliteal artery historically has been one of the most challenging arteries in which to perform endovascular treatment. Further study of endovascular therapy for popliteal artery injury could lead to appropriate utilization of endovascular and surgical techniques based on scientific data. In this video, Dr. Walker discusses an article from the August 2016 issue of VDM in which Tan et al describe a paradigm shift toward endovascular therapy for popliteal artery injury.
