Potential Benefit of Compression Therapy for "No-Option" CLI Patients

Any therapy that can reduce pain for critical limb ischemia patients for whom revascularization is not possible is worth the attention of interventionalists. Compression therapy has the potential to improve mortality, increase amputation-free survival, and reduce costs for this population. Below, Dr. Walker introduces the July issue of VDM with a discussion of the article by Sultan et al. that describes a study they conducted on sequential pneumatic compression therapy for "no-option" CLI patients.
