Deep Vein Arterialization Shows Great Promise in "No Option" Patients

Deep vein arterialization (DVA) has shown great promise in limb salvage, particularly in patients with severe diffuse arterial disease involving the pedal arch vessels and the branches of those vessels. Long term outcomes in these patients with simple arterial reconstruction has been dismal. Recent reports have shown improved limb salvage rate with the use of DVA. Many techniques have been reported. I’m interested in the experience of others with DVA (procedure and subsequent wound healing).
