CrossLock and FrontRunner for Chronic Total Occlusion
04/29/2016
Dr. Heuser describes a new approach for treating peripheral and potentially coronary CTOs in which the centering aspect of the CrossLock is used to maintain an intraluminal position and the aggressive crossing strength of the FrontRunner is used to perform recanalization. He believes this technique could facilitate safe and successful CTO crossing procedures that are faster and require less contrast and fluoroscopy. See more information on these cases in "Going to the Front With FrontRunner and CrossLock: A New Treatment Regimen in Complex Peripheral CTOs."
