Robotic M6 MLS Therapy Laser
The M6 Therapy Laser is a robotized multi-target device designed to treat patients suffering from pathologies affecting a wide area with automatic, hands-free, and completely unattended treatments.
Cutting Edge Laser Technologies
Cutting Edge Laser Technologies offers a full line of MLS® Therapy Lasers that manage pain and inflammation associated with Achilles tendonitis, plantar fasciitis, neuropathy, and much more.
27x17x62 inches; 95 lbs
The patented FDA-cleared Multiwave Locked System (MLS) emission system delivers therapeutic wavelengths, 808nm (anti-edemic and anti-inflammatory) and 905nm (analgesic). An energetic synergy is created when delivering these wavelengths that produces greater anti-inflammatory and analgesic effects than either can produce on its own, while minimizing the risk of thermal damage. It is this unique combination and synchronization of continuous and pulsed emissions that characterizes MLS and distinguishes it from other Class IV lasers.
The M6 MLS Therapy laser is the only therapy laser that offers fully robotic and completely unattended treatment sessions.
Indications for MLS Laser Therapy can include:
- Musculoskeletal system trauma (strains, sprains, etc.)
- Inflammatory conditions
- Degenerative Illnesses of articular or neuromuscular origin
- Edema due to circulatory stasis, reduced lymphatic drainage or trauma
- Superficial lesions and painful conditions of various origins.
Patients affected by conditions such as plantar fasciitis, Achilles tendinitis, neuropathy, arthritis post-surgical wounds/swelling and many others will experience fast relief of pain and inflammation.
Do not treat:
- Patients taking anticoagulants or drugs that could cause photosensitivity.
- Patients with fungal infections.
- Patients with hemorrhagic diathesis.
- Pregnant women or epileptic patients.
- Treat anemic patients with caution.
Do not use:
- Near the eye.
- Over or near a pacemaker.
- Over areas of suspicious, potentially or known cancerous tissue.
- Over vagal nerve, sympathetic ganglia, thyroid or carotid sinus region.
- Over areas of active hemorrhage.
- Over areas injected with steroids in the past 2 to 3 weeks.
- Over or near bone growth centers until bone growth is complete.
- Over areas where analgesia may mask progressive pathology.
- Over anesthetic areas.
- Over an area of the spinal cord following laminectomy.
- On ischemic tissue where the blood supply would be unable to follow the increase in metabolic demand and tissue necrosis might result.
- For symptomatic local pain relief unless a pain syndrome has been diagnosed or unless etiology is established.
During emission of laser radiation, appropriate protective eyewear must be worn at all times by the operator, the patient, and any other person within the nominal ocular hazard area.
There are no known side effects of MLS Laser Therapy.
