Angiographic Imaging of Direct Wire Pacing for Challenging Left Main Stenting

Introduction

Video supplement to “Direct Wire Pacing for Challenging Left Main Stenting: An Old Technique Revived,” by Servoz, et al. (December 2021 Clinical Images).

During stent positioning after predilating with a non-compliant balloon, we observed major motion of our device in the left main coronary artery. Under those conditions, accurate stent placement was uncertain. To remedy this situation, we decided to perform a rapid direct wire pacing with a good final angiographic result, as illustrated in this video series.
