First Ever Multidisciplinary Symposium on Prostate Interventions

 

The Synergy interventional oncology meeting aims to bring together a multidisciplinary team of clinicians to improve interventional therapies for cancer. New this year, Synergy will present its inaugural, one-day, multidisciplinary symposium on prostate interventions on November 5th, 2015.

The symposium will offer attendees a comprehensive review on the various aspects of prostate artery embolization combined with the latest developments in medical, surgical and interventional management of benign prostatic hyperplasia and prostate cancer featuring leading experts.

Topics covered include an overview of prostate artery anatomy, basics of BPH management, the regulatory landscape of PAE, PAE practice building and collaboration, case discussions for BPH, and PAE in prostate cancer. Synergy program chairs are Raj Narayanan, MD, and Jose Yrizarry, MD, and prostate intervention symposium directors are Shivank Bhatia, MD, and Francisco C. Carnevale, MD, PhD. Faculty for the prostate intervention symposium will include Sandeep Bagla, MD, Jafar Golzarian, MD, Christopher S. Gomez, MD, (Urology), Isaam Kably, MD, Oleksandr N.
