Daniel Brown, MD, FSIR, Vanderbilt University Medical Center, presents, “My Approach to a Patient With Metastatic Colorectal Cancer.” Dr Brown outlines the diagnosis and treatment course of a diverse group of patients, including a 52-year-old African-American man, an 87-year-old Caucasian woman, and a 38-year-old Caucasian man. “We use a variety of approaches,” notes Dr Brown, “including portal vein embolization, ablation, and arterial therapy.”

Robert J. Lewandowski, MD, FSIR, Northwestern University (Chicago), presents, “My Approach to a Patient With Cholangiocarcinoma.” Dr Lewandowski reviews the classification and epidemiology of intrahepatic cholangiocarcinoma, as well as treatment options and liver-directed therapies. He also presents updated data on Y-90 radioembolization before outlining his own approach with imaging series from recent patients.
