My name is Ebstesam Nafie. I am the Senior Scientist at Galvanize Therapeutics. My poster today is about pulsed electrical fields as one of the novel technologies inducing synthesis mechanisms by reducing the new antigen and not affecting the extracellular matrix. And this study is a comprehensive study between Boston electrical field and radiofrequency ablation. From this study, we have 2 animal models, EMT-6 and triple-negative metastatic breast cancer. 

From our data, we were able to reduce that. Enhancing tumor growth and also, increasing the survival rate of the animal for EMT-6 and 41 in comparison with radiofrequency ablation. Treated mice had greater survival in both models, including better tumor response. The post-ablation tumor microenvironment showed a decrease of VEGF and CMET, which are markers for progression of that tumor, as well as increased tumor specificity of CD8 tumor antigen. So, ​​the Aliya PEF system showed an increase of antigen-specific T cell sites in comparison with RFA. Our conclusion here is that there is a different modality between pulsed electrical fields and RFA. There is likely a difference in both the ablation tumor microenvironments and, cytokines and increased antigen-specific CD8 T cells.
