Community Medical Services acquires two MAT providers
11/21/2018
Clearview Capital Fund III this week announced the acquisition of Premier Care and Maintenance and Recovery Services (MARS), a pair of medication-assisted treatment providers for patients with opioid use disorder, by its portfolio company Community Medical Services. The transaction closed on Nov. 1. The Braff Group originated the transaction and served as the mergers and acquisitions advisor to Premier Care.
Premier Care operates seven programs in Ohio, Indiana, Michigan and Wisconsin, averaging nearly 3,000 patients daily. MARS serves nearly 800 patients daily at its four opioid treatment programs in Texas. By acquiring the two providers, the CMS network now includes 28 total clinics in nine states.
Clearview Capital will continue to pursue opportunities to further expand CMS’s footprint, partner Matt Blevins said in a news release.
