Newport Academy Hires Psychologists to Lead Gender-Specific Residential Programs

Newport Academy announced this week that it has hired a pair of psychologists to lead gender-specific residential treatment at its Connecticut campuses. Danielle Roeske, PsyD, will lead the male program, and Michael Roeske, PsyD, will lead the female program.

Danielle Roeske brings 16 years of work in mental health, having worked in acute psychiatric care, outpatient community therapy and residential treatment for persons with mental health disorders, with experience as a facility CEO, clinical director, program developer, family program director, therapist and supervisor.

Michael Roeske, who has also worked and trained in various settings within the field since 2003, is a licensed clinical psychologist and adjunct professor. He has worked in community mental health clinics, inpatient psychiatric hospitals, and residential and outpatient programs. Michael Roeske has experience as a COO and CEO for residential treatment programs, and also has experience as a supervisor, clinical director, and diagnostic assessor for children, adolescents and adults.
