CeDAR announces IOP services

To ensure a recovery-oriented continuum of care, CeDAR (Aurora, Colo.) will begin to offer outpatient treatment services on June 17, 2013.

The programs are said to be appropriate for those who need primary outpatient services for recovery from substance use and co-occurring mental health disorders and for those individuals who need a "step-down" level of care after completing residential or higher levels of addiction treatment within or from outside the CeDAR continuum of care.

The services are evidence-based practices and are designed for adults age 18 and over from the Denver-metropolitan area. The program also serves healthcare and other professionals through a specially designed and responsive treatment program track. The outpatient or intensive outpatient structure will address problems associated with chemical dependencies and related mental health disorders and allow participants to initiate a recovery program.
