BlueSprig Acquires Verbal Behavior Consulting in Lexington

Blue Sprig Pediatrics announced that it has acquired the assets of Verbal Behavior Consulting, a clinic-based provider of applied behavior analysis therapy services for children with autism spectrum disorder. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.

The acquisition of Lexington, Kentucky-based VBC follows deals for Tangible Difference Learning Center in Houston in March and West Texas Autism Center, which operates clinics in Abilene and San Angelo, Texas.

In a news release announcing the deal for VBC, BlueSprig president and CEO Keith Jones said the company plans to continue “to invest in both de novo and acquisition growth in underserved regions in and around Kentucky.”
