PODCAST: Patrick Kennedy advocates for veterans` mental health

Former congressman and behavioral health advocate Patrick Kennedy presented the plenary session on the last day of the National Council's 2013 conference in Las Vegas. He reminsiced about the field's many accomplishments over the past 50 years since his uncle, President John F. Kennedy, passed the Community Mental Health Act of 1963. He also addressed areas in which the field can improve, including better care for the nation's veterans.
