BayMark expands into Utah with latest acquisition

BayMark Health Services’ rapid growth continued this week with the announcement that it has acquired Metamorphosis, an opioid treatment program with locations in Salt Lake City and Ogden, Utah. Metamorphosis programs, which have provided medication-assisted treatment for opioid addiction since 1995, will become part of BayMark’s BAART programs, which provide MAT services for opioid addiction and dependency.

“We have worked over the last 20 years to create safe and effective recovery programs for our patients and to educate our community about the benefits of this proven treatment modality,” Shannon Terwedo, president of Metamorphosis, said in a news release. “We feel confident that BayMark will continue our mission and maintain the highest levels of care for our patients.”
