Newport Academy Acquires All-Female Program Near Seattle

Newport Academy, which operates a series of adolescent and young adult treatment centers for mental health, trauma and other psychiatric diagnoses has added Residence XII, an all-female treatment program near Seattle, to its portfolio. The move follows the acquisition of the former Gray Wolf Ranch, an all-male program in Port Townsend, Washington, in August.

As part of Newport Academy, the 25-bed Residence XII program will provide mental health residential treatment for teens and young adult women, now under the Newport Academy name. Liz Braun, PhD, will continue in her role as the facility’s executive director.
