Real-World Evidence and Secondary Mechanism of Action of the Auryon Laser System

A discussion with John Rundback, MD, and Bulent Arslan, MD

Learn about the recently published safety and efficacy data of the Auryon Laser System with Dr. John Rundback and Dr. Bulent Arslan.

The MicroCT Study established proof of concept for the Auryon System’s secondary mechanism of action. The study demonstrates the Auryon System’s ability to fracture medial arterial calcification in below-the-knee arteries, which may contribute to the low dissection rates seen when using the Auryon laser. The Pathfinder Study, involving 102 patients with PAD (121 lesions), builds upon the foundational IDE study, demonstrating the Auryon System’s safety and efficacy in treating lesions both above and below the knee.
