Share your comments with Dr. Walker about this topic. “I would like to hear comments from others about their experience with utilization of CO₂ as contrast,” he says. “I have found that as I have become more familiar with utilizing CO₂ it has great merit in many cases other than those where I’m concerned about contrast nephropathy. I use this in a large percentage of my patients supplementing it with minimal doses of iodinated contrast if necessary.
