medQ Signs New Strategic Partnership Agreement with Shina Systems
medQ Inc. and Shina Systems jumpstart new partnership with several installs in the South Africa Market
Plano, TEXAS | October 22, 2020 – medQ Inc, a leading provider of automated imaging workflow solutions, has signed a strategic partnership agreement with Shina Systems Ltd., a market leader in imaging applications and AI open platform PACS solutions. The partnership aims to integrate Shina's 3Di PACS, and AI tools with medQ's Q/ris 3000 and Reporting PLUS+ solutions to create a seamless and automated imaging workflow experience.
"There is really a lot to be excited about with this partnership," said Elad Arad, VP Business Development & COO of Shina Systems. "The Shina solution contains several high-quality applications and our AI open platform can integrate extremely well with medQ’s excellent workflow. The clinical outcomes of this combined solution will be auspicious for our customers."
The medQ-Shina partnership has been met with early success in the form of several installs of their unified solution in the South African market.
- Q/ris 3000™ provides imaging teams with automated and simplified patient registration, ordering and scheduling process, as well as an automated technologist workflow (via Q/ris Tech Workflow™). The Tech Workflow allows technologists to automatically populate the DICOM Modality Worklist, fill and attach e-worksheets to studies within the 3Di PACS, and send DICOM structured data as well as procedural notes directly to the appropriate radiologist's worklist.
- Reporting PLUS+™ streamlines the radiology reporting process by giving radiologists access to industry-leading voice recognition software and nested macro sequences that allow the radiologist to format and populate entire reports using single-word prompts and phrases.
- 3Di Enterprise PACS is a cloud-based, innovative solution with a comprehensive package of viewers and applications to suit any clinical imaging need. Each viewer provides radiologists with study prioritization, an AI-open platform for diagnostic assistance tools, and allows users to access exam images from anywhere. A robust cloud-based backup system and a deep learning "zero-day" prevention cybersecurity package protects the PACS.
"We were very impressed with Shina's offerings and are very excited to make their AI solutions available to our customers with this new unified solution," said John Norman, CEO for medQ inc. "Technology this good will vastly increase doctors' abilities to provide efficient, high-level care to their patients."
