An Invitation for Continued Collaboration and Partnership

July 2017

Welcome to the July edition of Vascular Disease Management. This month, I’m reaching out to share two great pieces of news with you.

First, I’d like to introduce our new Managing Editor, Lauren LeBano, who comes to us after several years working on our sister publications in the Pediatrics and Neurology departments at HMP Communications. Lauren has extensive experience with digital features, and she is an excellent fit as we grow the readership and scope of Vascular Disease Management

Second, I’m excited to announce that Vascular Disease Management is now the official journal of the International Symposium on Endovascular Therapy (ISET), devoted to the interdisciplinary treatment of vascular disease for almost 29 years. This month’s issue includes three timely articles on critical limb ischemia and peripheral vascular disease from our continuing series on February’s 2017 ISET meeting.

As part of this new collaboration, I’d like to invite you to write an article for Vascular Disease Management. We are currently accepting submissions for many types of content — from original research, clinical reviews, and clinical images, to case studies, endovascular techniques, and practice management.

As you may know, Vascular Disease Management is a monthly, peer-reviewed web-based publication that is indexed with EMBASE and SCOPUS. It is devoted to the multidisciplinary treatment of vascular disease, with an audience that includes interventional cardiologists, vascular surgeons, interventional neurologists, neurosurgeons, interventional radiologists, and nephrologists.

Author guidelines are available here, but you can also reach out to Lauren directly with any questions at llebano@naccme.com. When you are ready, you can submit your manuscript via our online submission portal at https://www.editorialmanager.com/vdm/default.aspx.

This is an exciting time for Vascular Disease Management, and I hope you can be a part of it.
