Expert Conversations: Fabian Sandoval, MD, and Gustavo Corrales, MD, on Latinx Clinical Research Inclusion

Bringing clinical research to Latinx communities has become a joint mission for these podcast guests, Fabian Sandoval, MD, and Gustavo Corrales, MD. New US Food and Drug Administration mandates require clinical trial participants to accurately reflect the population, so researchers are working harder than ever to ensure race, ethnicity, and gender inclusion. But with so many moving parts, this is hard to achieve. Hosted by Minerva Campos, MD, the guests discuss why participation is so important, where the process breaks down, and solutions to move the needle.
