ThreeFlex® 3-Layer Compression Bandage System is intended for use treating mixed etiology ulcers and for patients who cannot handle high compression levels.
Compression therapy should be used under the supervision of a health care professional. Conduct an ankle-brachial index (ABI) reading to ensure adequate arterial perfusion before applying compression therapy. ThreeFlex® may be used on patients with ABI measurements between 0.6-0.8, when deemed appropriate at the discretion of the physician. If you are experiencing pain that does not go away, loss of sensation or numbness, or coolness or color change of the toes, contact your health care provider.
Layers 1, 2, and 3 are applied in a spiral fashion with 50% overlap. Layer 3 is applied at moderate (50%) stretch.
