Quick Inventory of Depressive Symptomatology-Self-Report (QIDS-SR-16)

How to Use

Quick Inventory of Depressive Symptomatology (Self-Report)  (QIDS-SR-16) has proven useful for many years as a way of determining a patient’s level of depression before, during, and after treatment.

It is self-administered (and free!)

How to Score

The QIDS has multiple versions. The one recommended by TMAP – 2008 is QIDS-16, either the clinician administered or the self-rated version. These instruments can be used for BOTH screening purposes, as well as to assist with treatment decisions.
