Hello, thank you a lot. I'm Rostyslav Bublii. I'm a surgeon and endoscopy surgeon from Ukraine, from the city of Dnipro. It's 90 kilometers from the front line, and we're like one of stage of soldiers in our big program in Ukraine.

How did this innovative treatment help the wounded soldier?

I used Altrazeal for treating soldiers, for treating wounded military for a few reasons. The main point of them, it is, at first, it is very quick. You just need a wound, you just need Altrazeal a little bit of sterile or even not sterile water. And it can cover the skin, the damaged skin, and prevent contamination of microbes. It's very helpful in a field hospital where you don't have a lot of resources. You can just do it to prevent contamination. It will be easily and can even use antibiotics in the future if you do it all right.

What are the advantages of transforming powder dressing?

From my experience, when we finished treating soldiers and he still needs dressing, I give a little bit of Altrazeal for him. He goes back to his military—I think it was a military battlefield zone; not the first line, but he still needed treatment. And he can use it himself, but he don't need a doctor. We can be in touch with soldiers, he sent me pictures, he can call me by video and he can add this product by himself and the doctors can only consult him and don't need to go by himself—I mean doctor—to dressing and it gives a little bit more time for a doctor for another job.

In what situations is transforming powder dressing appropriate?

From my experience, I use it for burns at first, for wounds, for military wounds, and with civilian people, with military wounds, like a shrapnel wounds. It's very helpful when you need to quick cover damaged skin and it helps to produce epithelialization of wound. And if I need, for my routine, I don't use nothing for dressing and not the same, but especially it takes from two weeks up to one month, every day routine dress and this. And if you get at Altrazeal, you just need to look in and I use a dressing that you can see the wound and the skin and you can control the wound without dressing every day.

From my experience, I use it for burns. It was a thermal burn of the right hand. It was soldiers. It was a great experience. I think it takes two weeks and he came back to his military. And another usually was with military trauma. The first one, deepest wound was 6 cm and I first used a vacuum system to create a wound with not a big exudate to try to get the wound dry and then use Altrazeal.

Where should further research into TPD lead?

I think in the future it will be very helpful to use in maybe like for first aid kits, not only in military, maybe in civilian practice, where you need a quick, after stop bleeding or something like you need to quickly close the damaged skin, to prevent contamination of wound. And from my mind, it will help to stop using antibiotic therapy for every wound, and it will help to stop inflammation in wound.

Which outcomes from the TPD treatment were encouraging?

One of the most important points of use in this product is that the patient needs to be in hospital for a short period because he doesn't need everyday control and his own treatment became a little bit quickly with using this. This product accelerates the patient's discharge home, and we don't need to take a patient in hospital beds, and it's very helpful to a budget of hospital. Because if the inpatient department can give a patient for outpatient department, it's really cheaper and a quicker, most quick treatment for them.

And the third most important point. From my experience with using Altrazeal, I don't need any medication using this. I just add iodine, water iodine, and then add Altrazeal. And from my experience using an Altrazeal with burn damage, it's reduced pain syndrome. And I don't need any medication for patient with big burns, because it helps him with pain.
