Following adequate supine rest and stable baseline hemodynamics, tilt patients upright to a 60º-80º angle from the horizontal (left panel). Beat-to-beat hemodynamic responses to head-up tilt including electrocardiogram (ECG), heart rate (HR), blood pressure (BP), stroke volume (SV), cardiac output (CO), and systemic vascular resistance (SVR) provide continuous hemodynamic monitoring (right panel).
