Wisconsin Technical College System`s Futuremakers

A Southwest Wisconsin Technical College student is a semifinalist in the Wisconsin Technical College System's Futuremaker Video Competition. Candace Wetter, of Stitzer, is a senior at Fennimore High School and is attending Southwest Tech for fire science and general education courses. This fall, Wetter will pursue an associate degree in Fire Protection Technician Services and her paramedic license. Wetter has been a volunteer firefighter with the Montfort and Stitzer fire departments since she was 15. The competition asks students to demonstrate how colleges are contributing to their futures. Through March 17, anyone can rank the 40 video entries in the video gallery at www.wearefuturemakers.com.
